The global headquarters for one of the world's largest aerospace companies is located one mile east of the Solace Creek village limit. The functions at the Solace Creek complex are corporate headquarters, design laboratories, test facilities, and the final assembly of the BeriCraft™ 660 and 880 general aviation aircraft.
The six-passenger twin-turboprop 660 is one of the most popular private aircraft in the country, and the eight-passenger 880 competes with small executive jets on the basis of reduced operational costs.
At the present time, neither the 660 or 880 are sold outside the North American continent.
Boulder-Springs Metroplex (the Plex)
Published on September 28th, 2009 @ 04:22:16 pm , using 148 words, 21 views

The Boulder-Springs Metroplex is Colorado's largest city and home of the state capital. Within the Plex are three commercial airports, one cargo airport, and two general aviation airports. Mass transportation via the BEAST, is available throughout the Plex. The metroplex government model is unique in that there are two city councils called Wing Councils (Left and Right). Each council consists of an even number of representatives with similar objectives and points of view. This sometimes confuses people new to the area, because it seems that the government would be in a constant state of deadlock over nearly all issues.
What makes the structure work, however, is that the Metroplex Mayor has the deciding vote for all deadlocks, which makes the final decision making after all sides of the issue have been debated at simple and uncomplicated process.
