I can't find Boulder-Springs on the Colorado map. I can find Boulder and Colorado Springs. What's the deal?
A:
Boulder-Springs is a fictitious city, that somewhat encompasses the same area as Colorado's capital, Denver. The cities of Boulder and Colorado Springs are radically different in many ways. For example, many people call Boulder the ""People's Republic of Boulder"" because of its liberal bent. Colorado Springs, on the other hand, is known for its core religious conservatism. The idea of combining both of these philosophies into a single political entitity was too enticing to resist.
